and took back the house in huge number in 2006? She was right and those 'used' car traitors ( you know who you are) were wrong. No point in impeachment if you can't get a conviction.

It's not like it's the same batch of people. What you have to work with is what we have in there now and how they've performed, which has been a solid block against Trump's policies on a consistent basis.

But if you want to hold them to the standard that includes probably half a membership that isn't even in the House anymore, go right ahead.

Holding our elected representatives to task is our jobs as citizens.

And I'm nothing but skeptical when it comes to promises made by politicians, any politician.

I hope Democrats get used to following through on their opposition. It certainly bucks up the base to see their elected officials voting like they mean it.

they (those filthy repigs who by the way are in charge) will pile on the Democrats now. Let's see if those in charge want to see the government shut down. They were in a hurry to pass those tax cuts huh? and now when it's time to help the American people they turn a blind eye.
