Shutdown truth from Robert Reich

If a shutdown meant billionaires and corporations wouldn’t get their tax cuts, Trump and Republicans would be in overdrive. But when it comes to protecting immigrant children and providing 9 million kids with health care, they are less interested.

Senator McCaskil tried to get McConnell to let a bill come to the floor giving our military their pay during this shutdown, and McConnell refused. The Democrats tried to get the Chips program reauthorized but McConnell refused, and the Democrats wanted a Daca protection bill passed and once again McConnell refused. Trump, Ryan , and McConnell are against the welfare of the people.

Robert Reich is fantastic! I had no idea he even existed, back when he was in public service. What an oversight.
