Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsI AM OVERWHELMED WITH GRATITUDE. Women from all over the world joined us today.
And men and children of all ages.
Looking at all these photos, from all over the U.S. and on every continent, has me in tears.
There is still so much good in the world.
Thank you, thank you, thank you -- to everyone who marched or was there in spirit.

(7,768 posts)For some reason, the photo that moved me the most was the scientists March aboard their research vessel in Antarctica. This Administration has declared war on science but yet...they PERSISTED.

(6,557 posts)It is wonderful to see how the world has our backs! I am in tears of gratitude to all those who marched. I can no longer do so, but is so heart-warming to see so many people carrying on for the betterment of our world. There are times lately when I despair watching all of the things that I have worked for in my life (74 years) being dismantled. I sometimes wonder if it was all worth it. TODAY I KNOW THAT IT WAS! RESIST, PERSIST, CONTINUE ON!

(24,654 posts)They didn't know what to expect and were blown away by the sense of connection and empowerment. They were unprepared for how positive and uplifting all the participants were and the flood of acknowledged support from passing motorists. They feared a counter protest. Yet all we had was a lone Trump supporter who kept driving back and forth across the bridge in a pickup truck sporting two huge Trump flags. All any marchers did was occasionally yell out to him, "We love you!" or "We're doing this for you too!" Wonder how much the gas cost him to drive back and forth for two solid hours.

(327 posts)I was anticipating a few, possibly a dozen, photos at the link.
But, the numbers are beyond impressive.
Great work ladies, and kids, and gents.
Well done NYT for capturing so much of it all too.
