Special Counsel for the OPIOID Crisis

We are awash in the damage that has been done by the Opioid Crisis in our country. Yet, after being informed of the lives lost to opioid overdoses and the costs born of response to this man-made crisis which fall to tax payers, we have learned that the "crisis" was the direct result of legislative actions in the House and Senate.
Instead of holding the 23 politicians, led by Orin Hatch in the Senate and the House, and the pharmaceutical lobbyists, who ALL made money, by provided pharmaceutical companies BILLIONS of dollars in profits, the same politicians provided protection the drug manufacturers liability for all of the deaths and all of the related costs for their murder of the victims of the crisis THEY created.
How can the republican party be allowed to sacrifice the lives of our fellow citizens for profit? We as just "plain" citizens would held accountable for the death another citizen through our actions or inaction, not paid.
It is time for the creation of a Special Counsel to address the murder of our fellow citizens before they offer up thousands more citizens lives for profits.

Why should there be a special counsel for the opioid crisis? Where was all of this public outrage during the crack addiction crisis?
