I'm 5'3" (or 5"4" since my knee replacements depending on who measures) and I have extremely large palms for a woman. I have to get a man's large size in gloves. My palms are the same size as my 6"1.5" huband's - but his fingers are a half inch longer than mine.

In my entire life I have only met two people who had larger palms than mine - both were very large men.

While what you state is possible, it isn't proof that height has nothing to do with hand or foot size. I'm quite sure that on average, taller people have larger hands and feet.
