Sir:

The usual question posed at a time like this is "Have you no shame, sir?" But given the conduct of the Republican party, the question is moot. You have no shame, and there is little purpose in pointing out that obvious fact.

Stating that Democrats are now responsible for every crime committed by illegal aliens is beyond ludicrous. But if you want to persist in that ridiculous position, let’s take it to its logical conclusion.

Due to their love affair with the NRA (and its money), Republicans have steadfastly refused to support reasonable gun control. They are therefore responsible for every death by gun violence that happens in the country.

Republicans have acted to defund safety-nets like welfare, food stamps, meals-on-wheels, et cetera. Therefore, Republicans are responsible for every citizen who is rendered unable to house, clothe, and feed their families as a result of finding themselves in circumstances where they have nowhere to turn for assistance.

Republicans have fought for decades to limit womens’ access to sex education, birth control, and their right to an abortion. That makes Republicans responsible for every unwanted pregnancy that occurs, and every child a woman was forced to have as a result of rape or incest. And as we all know, Republicans immediately disavow any responsibility for children the minute they’re born – “save the fetus and then damn the child” has been a Republican mantra for decades.

Republicans have promoted the idea that affordable healthcare is not a right, but a luxury to be reserved for the wealthy. That makes Republicans responsible for every American who dies as a result of not having the necessary funds to access life-saving care, life-saving medication, and life-saving measures that are beyond their financial reach.

The list goes on, sir – and on, and on, and on.

Your problems are many – and your hypocrisy is blatant. The most apparent problem you have (which, unfortunately, the entire nation has to live with) is the fact that the Republicans elected a fucking moron to the presidency. And rather than try to control his idiocy, you have chosen to kow-tow to his every childish whim. Instead of reining him in and educating him as to how the government works, you have chosen to publicly fellate him in order to manipulate a mentally incompetent idiot into “signing whatever you put in front of him”, with zero regard to the consequences.

You and your party, sir, are responsible for all of those consequences: the distancing of our traditional allies, the decline in our once-proud standing in the global community, the threat of war with North Korea, the lack of science-based facts in our classrooms, the white-washing of our history in our children’s textbooks, the lack of healthcare for our fellow citizens, the undermining of social safety-nets that serve the unemployed, the elderly, the sick and the homeless.

I would also remind you that your “pResident” is still under investigation for colluding with our Russian enemies, as well as obstruction of justice and money laundering. His administration is mired in lies, cover-ups, and ever-changing “stories” about their complicity with our foreign adversaries. So blaming Democrats for your “pResident’s” failures is laughable. You put the ultimate “failure” in the Oval Office – and that’s on you, no one else.

It has not gone unnoticed that according to your ever-changing rhetoric, the Dreamers have gone from being persons who the vast majority of the country think should be protected have suddenly become the “illegals” that are somehow responsible for crimes committed against the country – all evidence to the contrary.

But by all means, sir, please continue to placate the Idiot you put in the highest office in the land. Continue to change your positions based on what that Idiot tweeted a minute ago – despite the fact that his position was something completely opposite two minutes ago. Continue to blame the Democrats for pointing out that your Idiot-in-Chief IS an Idiot, and you and your party are his spineless, dick-sucking enablers.

Shithole Trump is YOUR baby – so let’s stop pretending otherwise. And everything he says and does is ON YOU. But acknowledging that fact requires a spine – and we now have more than ample evidence that you don’t have one.

Maybe you find it difficult to speak-up for your country and your fellow citizens because you're too busy licking Trump's asshole. And yet again, the phrase "Have you no shame, sir?" is rendered moot.
