My idea to end the shutdown

Here's my idea to end the shutdown.

Congress needs to come up with a bill that does the following:
--fixes DACA with a path to legal status
--funds CHIP
--immigration fixes that D's and R's can both agree on
--provides funding for disaster relief, especially for PR and the VI
now, bear with me...
--provides lots for border security (tech, manpower, etc., but NO WALL)
--increases military spending because that's all the R's care about

It needs to be a bill that includes all of the stuff that D's and R's already agree on to a large extent, but NO WALL because a wall is stupid, wasteful, counterproductive, and everyone knows it except our moron-in-chief.

This needs to be a bill that could pass easily in both houses, perhaps something like the original bill that President Moron torpedoed. But NO WALL.

And then pass it, and when Trump vetoes it, override the veto.

Trump won't "get it" of course, but it might teach John Kelly to keep his nose out legislative business. And besides, it would be good for the country.
