Or that it'll seem like we loved the Berlin Wall so much we decided to build one of our own.
No, the real irritant is Trump cut tax revenues by about five times what he thinks he needs to build this thing, and he still thinks he can have all the money he wants.

(4,483 posts)Well, the Berlin wall didn't work; the walls in Israel/Palestine don't work. The Great Wall of China worked, I guess, but those guys were defending against archers on horseback. The wall around Troy didn't work, either. Which wall is it that works? The wall around Mar-a-lago?
1. Has there been a terror attack carried out by a Mexican immigrant?
2. Doesn't the vast majority of drugs from S.A. come here via plane and boat? It's hard for me to imagine people trudging through the desert, unable in some cases to carry enough water to sustain life, being the major source of drugs.
3. If Mexicans taking US jobs is such a big threat, why is unemployment among Americans so low?
None of this computes for me.
