Hate for Libs/Dems

Listening to am talk shows/FOX and other forums its obvious the right hates the left to the point they are viewed as an enemy of the state, however it seems the right thinks all the hate is coming from the left, Are they that brainwashed into believing this delusion? while i disagree with rightwing opinion and viewpoint i dont hate them.

Everyone outside their "cult" is considered evil and dangerous, while we on the outside see them as simply wrong and hateful.

You've put your finger on the problem.

Throughout most of my life as an American, I've thought of propaganda and mass brainwashing as things that happen in history books, or in faraway lands. I never thought we'd see them in the good old USA, but they have become the defining characteristic of our society.

The same tactics used so successfully by propagandists in other times and places are being exploited here. The tactics are always the same, whether they're used by Nazi propagandists, Soviet propagandists, militant Islamic propagandists, or our own modern American right-wing propagandists.

Fear and hatred are powerful emotions, and it's these emotions that the propagandists seek first to arouse, then to harness and exploit. There's no use debating policy with people who are under this spell. It's not about policy for them, despite their claims to the contrary. It's about raw emotion, and people can seldom be reasoned out of their emotions.

The surprise is really with democrats who think they can "work" with the batshit crazy "right". Why can't "we all get along" is a foolhardy mantra that needs to be quickly vanquished. If people notice, the 'right" has left american behind in taking over state govts and controlling the gerrymandering that is almost impossible to overcome.

Time for all of us to realize this is a war and so far we have failed America big time.

In those poor rural areas that are almost entirely white, there is almost no news outside of Talk Radio, Fox News, right wing newspapers and their local RW churches. And, since Democrats dropped the 50 state strategy, there are almost no Democratic representatives at the small town level in any of these areas. You here one side of the news for 20-30 years and it will sink in with everybody.

(Back in the 80s and 90s, some RW billionaires bought up tons of small town and regional newspapers and the editorial content moved hard right - I believe only 1 or 2 of the 20 most syndicated op-ed columnists would be considered liberal, a couple are non partisan and the rest are right wingers.)

4. Simple Answer

They are beyond normal human thinking. They think near neanderthal levels...speaking nicely by the way. When a caveman thinks his cave or wife is threatened, they react violently. Now imagine modern day era...same level of thinking and the cave and wife are their freedom and pride. Threatened by modern day ideologies. Fox News loves to keep them dumbed down considering their level of thinking outside the box is near impossible. So yes they see us as enemies of the state, reason they want things such as a civil war or some type of violence to happen.

Basically...yes they hate us. Let them hate us, I don't like them for basically destroying our country and siding with a Russian bought president. So you want a real enemy. The Alt-right is that enemy.

Studies show that human perception and decision-making are more strongly influenced by emotions than by rationality. Years of Limbaugh, O'Reilly, Hannity and crew have conditioned people to be angry and hateful against liberals. Its been massively successful, look at the recent election results.

And it has a ways to go yet. And then there's the danger of the Mueller People. Fox News and Cohorts plan may be overtaken by events that they don't control.

Excerpt from another forum =

The democrats would love a civil war, a revolution, any form of anarchy and lawlessness.
The Rs are generally too polite and civil and law abiding to fall for the Dems anarchy and faux hysteria.

They play the civil war card. Alex Jones plays the "democrats rape babies" card. The alt right is convinced they're on the trail of a secret pedophile cabal that has been operating under our noses this whole time. Christian pundits are convinced that we are the spawn of satan for daring to question why Trump got elected. They're getting insane and I really fear what is going to happen in 2020 if Trump doesn't get reelected.

14. It's projection
Mon Jan 22, 2018, 12:52 PM
Jan 2018

From Wikipedia on the psychological concept of projection: "humans defend themselves against their own unpleasant impulses by denying their existence while attributing them to others. For example, a person who is habitually rude may constantly accuse other people of being rude."

They're so full of hate that they can't even see anything else in other people.
