CNN Poll 56% Say DACA Not Worth A Shutdown. I Guess They Are Ok With Deporting.

The Democrats probably did the right thing for now based on the CNN poll. Could that mean they won't support a shutdown even if GOP fails to keep its promise? Of course that would figure with a population that has lost much of its empathy.

...if Democrats don't deliver on DACA, and particularly if we get lots of news stories about Dreamers being deported, look for a sizable chunk of the Latinx-American vote (a key part of our bloc) to stay at home for future elections. (I'm already seeing lots of "fuck the Democrats" tweets from friends in that group over the past hour.) I suspect the same will hold true for young people in general, as I've seen a lot of concern for the fate of Dreamers in that group.

Bottom line: it may be 56%-44% against a shutdown over that issue, but, if a large part of our base is in that 44%, even "giving the majority what they want" may exact a heavy price.

with the attitude screw the Democrats. You get them in to power and you will get what you want. There is no guarantee that keeping the shut down over DACA will work for the Democrats. You still have to out vote that GOP base.

Here is another reason it is difficult for Democrats. The media is not going its job. The MSM seems to give the GOP a free pass o so many things. There is a large hate radio propaganda machine blasting 24/7 in every local arena. The have 95% of the radio stations and there is a large Russian presence on the social media. So the Democrats have a hard time getting its message out.

On top of that we have a very racially divided country. Racism seems to work for them.

Politics is the art of the possible. When the republicans control all three branches of the government, there ain't much possible the democrats can do!

Go right ahead and attack your friends that can help you in the future, Shitler heartily approves SUCKERS!
