A simple question: Are there enough votes to pass DACA such that Dreamers are safe?

The question assumes a clean vote on DACA.

That means, are there enough GOPee votes to do it?

In the Senate, I think there are.

In the House, there will be if Ryan does a clean vote with no cutesy shenanigans by the "freeDUMB" caucus.

But when the previous speaker did such things...he got the boot. This weekend was about positioning of Cotton to take the turtles job in the future. If and when in three weeks the house has to suck it up and include DACA we will learn a lot more about who is on Ryan's heels.

it won't pass the House. Senate? maybe. it will only take 2 "moderates".

the GOP's been blocking this fix for 17 years.
