So if the government wants to knock DU off the internet you have no argument why they can't.

And there should not be any fourth amendment search protection for cars since they were not around.

or phones or web server logs... how could the founders have known that you would be able to instantly send possibly dangerous information halfway around the world in an instant... semi-auto and fully auto rifles would have been far move believable at the time then being able to access all the worlds combined knowledge on a device that fit in your pocket

Fun fact: Private citizens owned personal pieces of artillery and ships of war, outfitted with cannons at the time of the 2nds adoption.

But, I agree with your point. Those are the arms framers had in mind. Plus, the militias were totally different then. Now they are just right wing groups bent on intimidating and advancing hatred of immigrants and other minorities. To do that, they have to look like this:

the Girandoni Air Rifle existed about 10 years before the 2nd Amendment was written.

One was used by Lewis & Clark. They had a tube magazine containing 21 rounds and one in the chamber. They had ballistics similar to that of a .45 acp and an effective range out to 150 yards...



not that any of this really matters... some people just love to blow smoke...
