They are angry and feel like they have been abandoned by the Dems who they supported through the Women's Marches. They have a lot of power and are able to help the Dems through their campaigns at grass roots levels. The blue wave is partially due to their extremely hard work over the past year. Dems need their support in the midterms since they have the energy and power to sway election outcomes. Schumer had better realize this. I will be interested in hearing what he has to say.
