I don't want to declare war on Russia.
I don't want to nuke them. Perhaps a lesser part of me does, but the better part differs.
Once Robert Mueller and the better half of American law enforcement completes their task, an international police action is appropriate and necessary. All of the Russian actor's wealth must be seized, all their properties, all their companies. Every henchmen and assassin and hacker that ever served Vladimir Putin in his quest to destroy our nation from within must be investigated, arrested, tried and convicted in a court of law. Every Russian-based billionaire and power-center must be investigated for their role in their attack on us, and if there is evidence for that fact, they must be arrested, tried, and convicted in a court of law. We should never cease this process until we are satisfied.
To a certain extent, Russia is no longer a nation; it is a loose association of criminal gangs. I think we should treat them like that.
If they choose to respond militarily to a coordinated police action, then by all means, we should respond militarily, in force, with intent to disarm and degrade their further ability to cause harm. Like Americans.
As frustrating, frightening and uncertain as our current state is, Rober Mueller has given me a taste for Process. Inexorable, calm, inevitable, honorable American Process.
Let us Process them, in detail and in depth, until we have Finished.
