(24,736 posts)I really wanted to read her and tried (The Dispossessed), but I couldnt get into it. Guess Im just not smart enough!

(11,028 posts)The one thing that is making it easier is seeing all the writers I know and love paying tribute to her across my Twitter and FB feeds. Earthsea is a wonderful gateway, but Left Hand of Darkness is her masterpiece (IMO).

(5,940 posts)It's the only one of her novels I've read so far, besides "The Left Hand of Darkness". I liked "City of Illusions", though, and would recommend it.
