For those evangelicals who say God sent him, they need to recheck that commandment about false gods.

You can do WHATEVER the fuck you want for as long as you want, then "accept Jesus" and it's all erased. Repeat as necessary. Fortunately for them, this also conveniently applies to people they vote for. Mind you, their preferred candidates don't have to actually accept Jesus, they (the Evangelical Christians) can simply CLAIM their favorite politicians have done so. See, isn't that easy?

God has proven himself to be totally unreliable. He will apparently tell anyone what they want to hear. But, maybe, that is the point. If we have elevated an image of a god who abuses women, supports child abusers, is inclined to war, vain, and petty, then Trump is easily identified with that god. Hell, God could probably kill his own child in public and they would still love him. So I can see the cause for accepting Trump by so many religious fanatics; he reminds them of their irrational and emotionally unstable god.
