Is Jeffrey Toobin a Trump supporter?

I heard him say on CNN that the fact that Mueller wants to interview Trump is good news for Trump because it indicates that the investigation is wrapping up.

Where does he come up with with that bs logic?

If anything it sounds like the investigation is turning on the heat on Trump and his Russian conspirators.

https://www.cnn.com/2018/01/23/politics/rick-gates-new-attorney-mueller-russia-investigation/index.html

Former Trump campaign aide Rick Gates has quietly added a prominent white-collar attorney, Tom Green, to his defense team, signaling that Gates' approach to his not-guilty plea could be changing behind the scenes.

Green, a well-known Washington defense lawyer, was seen at special counsel Robert Mueller's office twice last week. CNN is told by a source familiar with the matter that Green has joined Gates' team.
Green isn't listed in the court record as a lawyer in the case and works for a large law firm separate from Gates' primary lawyers.

be interviewed you can bet he is at the end because you would not get a second chance to question the President. His lawyers having cooperated once would say they've cooperated and the president is done testifying. So you put him at the end when all is just about known. So you would have no need to re interview the president.

it's towards the end. So it's good news for tRUMP because it's wrapping up, I mean that's what tRUMP wants - for the investigation to end. But then it's not good news for trashbag because we know why!

I'm thinking this investigation is going quickly because 1) clues/evidence littered about and easily collected. 2) We can't have corrupt foreign influenced maybe worse...... running the gov't.

I think these things generally work their way from the bottom up, filling in pieces of the puzzle as they go so they know much of the truth and the vulnerabilities before they get to the top guys running the show. However, the special counsel can call witnesses back so there could be more than one interview along the way and it could still go on for some time.

Will ever be arrested, tried, convicted and incarcerated.
no matter which party they are from. That doesn't mean
they were not guilty or didn't deserve it. It just means they
have the means to leave the country and take all those
classified secrets with them. And we can't afford for them
to reach the shores of a country that will not extradite.
Especially since they are unlikely to be friends of the United States.

So, If If If.
If Trump were indicted, tried and convicted, I think he would
be out of the country in less time it took for the shutdown to
end. He could be in Russia so fast the only thing that would
get there faster is the wire tran$fer.

The fact is, we don't know where the Mueller investigation is, when it will end or what he's got. It would seem to me that you interview the big fish toward the end of the investigation, but Mueller may be planning one or more interview.
