OK So I Was At The Ducks And Rangers Game Tonight.

And I witnessed something that made me utterly embarrassed that I have to breathe the same air as Trump supporters. Sure I've been that way since day one but what I saw tonight put things in a whole new perspective.

So some back story. During each Ducks home game they do a between break promo called "Salute To Those Who Serve". Which is fine, I know what country I live in. Well this guy they had tonight decided to do something different - he used his honor at the Ducks game tonight as an opportunity to reenlist in the Navy. And his family and his unit were in attendance and were standing right behind him. They bring out a guy to help him take the oath to reenlist in the Navy.

Now here's what I'm not OK with - during the oath, they get to the part about "I will honor and obey the orders of the President". Now I mind you - the whole stadium is silent during this. During this one part - this stupid fucking asshole Trump supporter blurts out "WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!" and gets some very mixed reactions to his public display of affection for Trumpenfuror, which totally ruined the Navy guy's moment. Even the Navy guy who was taking the oath had a "WTF" look on his face - he was in front of his family and his unit while this happened. His chance to be in the spotlight totally ruined by an asshole deplorable Trump supporter.

Excuse me???? That sort of thing is what Trump has done to us! This just completely floored me that someone would do something like this during a time like that. Really, Trump fans - if there's a moment that requires you to be silent, be fucking silent. Don't make a fucking ass of yourself - the only one who's stupid is you. A moment like this where you're supposed to respect our military and you make an ass of yourself. I am just totally dumbfounded by this act. I can't believe someone would do this, but then I do remember that we're into a year of Orange Asshole in the White House.

That wasn't the point of this post at all.

Oh and the Ducks kicked the Rangers' ass so it was worth it.

I wasn't at the game tonight, gave my tickets to a client. How repulsive that sounds. We all have to live with these Fuckwads apparently. And their side gets away with it, and this is the new normal.

You can't even imagine a Democrat doing that while Obama or Clinton were President. And you know what, if one did, the repubs would be the first to say how Democrats are unbelievably rude and unpatriotic for shouting during this serious military moment.

I wonder if the arena made an attempt to locate him, and perhaps remove, although it might have to be due to intoxication, as I'm not sure being an Insensitive Prick is enough to get you kicked out.

I worked with a guy who was a huge hockey fan. Our teams games are sparsely attended though so his voice carried even better. It was the beginning of the game, where they're introducing the coaches, and the well-known joke about the opposing coach was that he looked like Colonel Sanders. So he gets introduced, there's a smattering of clapping that dies down to silence very quickly, which is broken by my friend, doing his best Mike Myers Scottish accent, "OH, I HATE THE COLONEL WITH HIS WEEEEE BEADY EYES! OH YUIR GUNNA BUY MY CHICKEN!" Everyone, including the coach, turned to look at him. He felt it was his greatest moment.

It's got to be a little cathartic to get it written down.. I hope!

Are you talking about the Oregon Ducks?

That's too bad the trumphuck had to show off what a stupid ass he was at the game.

Yay Ducks!

I would think yelling “TRUMP FUCK YEAH!!!” might indicate that or something along those lines, but blurting out a random yell just seems like ambiguous drunk behavior.

A few years ago I was at a hockey game and they had a moment of silence for one of the league’s great players who passed. Some teenage girl yelled out a current player’s name who was on the ice in the middle of it. Everyone was aghast and I heard the family of the deceased in attendance was upset. I heard the player whose name was yelled even went and apologized after even though he had absolutely nothing to do with it. Some people are just attention whores.

Considering the yell came right after the line in the oath which specifically references the President, I'd say that's good enough indication what he was after.
