Fox News is now a full time conspiracy peddling network

The whole world is conspiring against poor Donald. He didn't violate the law. Even if he did others made him do it. Even if Mueller has rock solid evidence of law breaking by Trump, that evidence is invalid because two FBI agents were texting each other and seem to not have a liking for Trump--the poor dear.

35% of america don't care if the people they support are liars, cheaters, pedophiles, adulterers, etc as long as they can get their hate on against democrats, liberals, blacks, immigrants and all our policies and issues. The sad part is, we didn;t have to go thry this if people chose country and supporting hillary over whatever bullshit nonsense that led to them not to vote or vote for stein

Eschaton has a sidebar to Media Matters on its website, showing some of the top stories being covered there. Fox & Friends, Lou Dobbs, Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh have all just coincidentally begun raving about "deep state" and how the Democrats really started the Iraq invasion and we need an all-out war on the intelligence agencies and it's time to prosecute every government employee deemed insufficiently loyal to President Shithole.

But it's just a coincidence, I'm sure, that all these smut peddlers just happen to be hawking the exact same products at the exact same time.

Attacking the FBI and the Department of Justice. They've crossed a line here, and I'm hoping that it costs them bigly.

10. The problem is that too many of the Fox viewers trust them.

They have been carefully groomed to distrust anybody but them. Fake News has worked like a charm to undermine any other source of information. They feed their biases and prejudices, sometimes subtly, sometimes blatantly. So they feel like they are well informed about the state of affairs in the world and especially the U.S. I bet they have no idea how many people despise tRump and want him removed from office. But even if they do know, they don’t care, because they believe THEIR opinion is all that matters. It is the rest of the world (that is horrified by tRump and all that he represents) that is out of touch and out of step.

Furthermore, they almost exclusively watch Fox. They have been trained to disregard any other news that slips past them. If it doesn’t support their beliefs and opinions, it is immediately dismissed.

It will take Watergate type hearings with undeniable proof of the massive deception pulled on the American people. People on the inside of the tRump campaign who are flipped by Mueller to save their sorry asses will reveal what really happened. Hopefully there will be emails, recorded calls, people wearing a wire and other devices that will finally bring the story out for all to see and hear. I imagine that if that day arrives there will be lots of denial and gnashing of teeth at Fox and among its viewers. Hopefully they will pull their fingers out if their ears and realize they were duped by tRump and Fox News.

to channel that energy. Also, they have to have something to sell to their audience. They can't tell them the truth. That the president really is a DOTARD who screws over the little people, and launders money on behalf of criminals around the world because that's truly where his talent lies. He just never believed that he could get away with it for this long.

I’ve been watching rightwing media since the late 80s. I’ve been doing it professionally for two decades. Very little surprises me. But last night on a tip I checked out a series of segments on Fox claiming new evidence of a anti-Trump “secret society” at the FBI plotting to overthrow the Trump administration.

Top billing on this went to Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson (R) who said this …
...
But in the process of hunting up that video I stumbled on Lou Dobbs show. Lou’s now on Fox Business Network. I know Dobbs. I remember when he was a semi-normal person years ago on CNN. But I haven’t just watched his show in a long time. Even I found his performance genuinely shocking. He parroted the same new “secret society” talking points, “witch hunt”, “fake news”. But it wasn’t any single point or accusation. It was the whole – the wild claims of coverups and crimes, plotting against the elected President, demands for purges. All of it together combined with the addled and hyped up affect feels like something out of some clownishly ruthless dictatorship. It almost doesn’t seem real even by those standards. Here’s a clip of the first minute or so intro to his show last night.
...
Remember, Dobbs is very close to President Trump. They apparently talk often.
