Martin Scorsese, Brian De Palma and Ron Howard come to mind for this genre of crime, suspense and drama

(7,809 posts)There's nothing wrong with movies like All the President's Men and The Post. If a good movie or miniseries can bring the whole story together at one time, all the better.
Just let's not let Oliver Stone have anything to do with it.

(1,202 posts)Something that will be sanitized and weakened in most text books. Just 25 years after Nixon, kids still haven't been exposed to the full truths of his administration. All the President's Men, helps a lot with the knowledge.

(1,009 posts)but I agree, it would be long. A 2 or 3 season netflix series would probably cover it. If it has to cover all the global financial systems, the entire GOP, multi mobster groups, bikers, and gun groups, make it 5 seasons.
