Some of them old style Repubs haven't given me the nostalgic sighs, like forever: Stephen SCHMIDT, Nicole WALLACE, and STEELE. I've had all Repubs blocked out as Repukes for threescore and change years.

Former Republican National Committee chair Michael Steele said that religious leaders have no business lecturing him if they’re going to keep finding ways to excuse President Trump‘s bad behavior.

Family Research Council president Tony Perkins got a lot of attention on Tuesday when he gave multiple interviews and said evangelicals gave Trump a “mulligan” for his moral failings in the past. Perkins argued that Trump’s impious behavior and his affair with porn star Stormy Daniels happened “years ago,” and that evangelicals are likely to always defend Trump as long as he makes policy decisions they approve of.

Franklin Graham used similar arguments to defend Trump when he spoke with CNN’s Don Lemon. ....
