While Republicans control Congress. It's delusional to think otherwise.

Worse than that, there's every chance they'll cheat again to fix the midterm.

He doesn’t know my politics, so I just let him talk, even though very little of the conversation was political. (I was his mother’s nurse and he invited me to thank me for my kindness to her, and my agency rules - and mine - discourage us from political discussions with our patients/family)

Anyway, he briefly said that he was happy with some of the things T had done while in office, but then he swung into a diatribe about ICE and the un-American handling and arrests of people who had been here for decades and yada yada yada.

Seeing an opening, I told him of the doctor in my home state, my hospital where I had practiced to earn my degree, and now he was presently sitting in jail, despite his decades of outstanding service to the community. I said that most of our hospitals have docs and nurses from around the world, top shelf, and we were going to pay a high price because they won’t choose to come here anymore.
He agreed.

I just find it interesting to know what it is that will finally awaken these Fox newsies...
