If Trump hadn't inherited $200 mill from Dad, was born with nothing, what would he be doing now?

Last edited Fri Jan 26, 2018, 07:21 PM - Edit history (1)

Don't want to make it out as though there is anything wrong with a good honest days work but I have no doubt he would NOT have been skilled at building his wealth having come from a poor family.

I kind of see him as a used car salesman or perhaps a mattress sails guy, maybe waterbeds, but he puts most of his energy into multi level marketing scams that have gone nowhere over the years. Kind of like the mattress guy from About Schmidt who Jack Nicholson wants to prevent his daughter from marrying. Just not as charming.

What do you think he would be doing now without all of Daddy's money?

I wish someone would produce an alternate life of Trump movie with this premise.

He wouldn't have anything resembling Atchie's job history. He would have gone from job to job getting fired for laziness, anger issues, lying on his job application, and more recently sexual harassment. His glory days were when he was a slumlord manager, then he sold used cars, then he still felt pretty good about himself when he was employed and even managed pawn shops. When he landed in the fast food industry, he was too lazy to cut it.
Oh well, he can collect his SS retirement. One of his kids is generous enough to let him live in their basement and watch FOX all day.

I'm a firm believer in the free enterprise system. Why work for wages for someone else when you can be your own boss? Let me come over to your house, and I'll run some numbers by you. How does that sound? Get in on the ground floor with a bunch of other motivated entrepreneurs who have the same goals that you have."

How many of us have heard one variation or another of that pyramid-scheme sales pitch?

than all of his stiffing of vendors, scam business, bankruptcies, cheating and money laundering shenanigans.

And remember, his daddy had to bail him out a couple times after he got the inheritance.

He'd have amounted to nothing but a two-bit con man without the power of his daddy's money.

Has always colluded with mobsters, and so did his father before him, who was also a member of the KKK, and was prosecuted for his
refusal to rent to black families, his grandfather who was an immigrant had been thrown out of his own country and came to the US and ran brothels and was a part of the protection racket. It is in the blood of the Trump family.

No disrespect to reputable car salesmen who work hard to earn a commission, but trump’s only talent seems to be bullshit, and I can see him in the lot of a small used car business that is a money laundering business for the mob.
