Everyone here knows Budweiser cans beer. I realize the cool kids do not like Budweiser beer, but it is beer.
What a lot of people do not know is their Cartersville, Georgia, brewery can be reconfigured to can tap water...which they ship to disaster areas at their own expense. That's what this year's Super Bowl ad is about.

(16,863 posts)And piss on the beer snobs, lol. Although I prefer Miller, aint nothing wrong with Bud! I love a good craft beer but at the end of the day, beer is still beer.

(50,559 posts)Canned and bottled Bud is pasteurized, so it's been subjected to high heat (which ruins it) and then it's usually merchandised in the middle of the aisle at the store so it has to live at room temperature for weeks (which also ruins it). Draft beer is not pasteurized, so it is handled cold its entire life.

(61,695 posts)I wish they had mentioned Cartersville (or Georgia) at the end like they did the others. Or were those the states they were assisting?
On edit: okay, I saw it the second time. And yes, that was the Cartersville facilty, and they shipped to CA, TX, FL, and PR.

When I was in college: I loved the Cardinals. I loved Anheuser-Busch. I loved what they did for the community. I loved their products (Michelob was the gold standard for me). I love the Clydesdales.
Anheuser Busch sold the Cardinals. They abandoned St. Louis. I was introduced to micro-breweries. The Clydesdales are still cool, though:
In all seriousness, though, i am glad they make the canned water. I was on the receiving end of some in 2006. I'm still a beer snob.

Certainly not an American company. I try to drink local beer as much to keep the money in my community as for the quality of the beer.
Well, that and craft beer is just flat out better. But I will still enjoy a draft bud.
