Last heard, Nunes has not shown the contents to the White House. So, Trump is operating in his usual mental vacuum of non-think. Given Nunes is using this as a nothing-burger where the only value is in it's not being released, it's doubtful the White House staff will let Trump do anything to lessen it's value - ie, release it.
