If Rosenstein is fired, would it be obstruction of justice?

Everybody knows that it is all about getting to Robert Mueller. The Senate could resolve this potential crisis by simply passing legislation to prevent the firing of the Special Counsel in investigations such as this. That would convince the White House and most of the Congress that it would serve no purpose in firing Rosenstein.

It is obvious to most Americans that Donald Trump has been obstructing this investigation since day one. Although most of his supporters believe it is a partisan witch hunt by the Democrats, they cannot explain all the lies and why they continue to hide the truth? They act guilty as sin.

money laundering the GOP will never impeach him. He could kill someone on 5th Ave. and no one would care. We MUST win the midterms to get rid of him.

He would have to be impeached in the House and convicted in the Senate to get rid of him. That will not be easy to do.

To prove obstruction you need to prove intent.... we know what his intent is but proving it is another story

...is my understanding. The body of evidence is all that is needed to impeach. That is the choice that Democrats will probably have to decide when and if they win back the majority in the House. Although the Democrats will probably argue against impeachment, in my opinion, it would be a dereliction of duty not to impeach. It is not their duty to decide for the Senate. It is up to the Senate to convict if the House impeaches. just my two cents.

The house and senate both have their own "laws" or rules or ideas or whatever they want to call it today...our actual legal system has no real control over any of this unless or until he actually leaves office either at the end of his term or if he is actually ousted by impeachment... if it looked too bad for him he would do as nixon did and negotiate some sort of deal at least he would try... our(and I say that as a joke) legislature doesn't have any interest in prosecuting him or any of their cronies
