On SOTU Eve, Dude Expresses Opinion of Trump

Our Beagle/Basset, Dude, was watching the CBS Evening News last night, when tomorrow's SOTU was mentioned. In response, Dude went to the dog toy basket and retrieved his POTUS chew toy, which he had almost forgotten. The results for The Donald were not pretty. Dude's opinion of the current resident of the White House seems quite clear, as you can see below:

I told him so, after he took both the stuffing and the voice out of Trump. He ignored the POTUS toy until last evening. The idea of the SOTU was the final straw, though, apparently.

Dude is on a diet, after his last trip to the vet, who raised his eyebrows when our overfed pup got on the scale. "Less treats for this one," the vet said. So, we're substituting extra petting for those missing treats. Dude doesn't seem to mind.
