Survival of this country at all is hardly guaranteed. And even if we do there will catastrophic damage economically, socially and culturally. When you survey everything that is going with Trump/GOP/Russians and their billionaire allies it gets hard to imagine how things work out for the good.
Particularly maddening is the MSM's efforts to make what is going on as caused by the Democrats, Clinton, Obama etc etc etc. The Sunday shows are no more than a GOP propaganda machine. Not watchable by any standard.
Significant Democratic wins in November will only a a holding action. It is hard to see any movement in the right direction. Trump will still be in office and I do not expect Mueller will bring him down with the GOP in charge of the law enforcement system.
All my own person worst fears became reality with the last election. I have been watching our slide since 1980. I though Obama would reverse it but he id not. The GOP still moved forward.
The worst part is that I do see very radical and really vicious religion infiltrating our government. Theocracy is a real possibility even thought the majority of the country would be against it. When you have a radical nutcase like Copeland speaking at a pray breakfast at a military base it should be a red flag. WHY THE HELL ARE WE HAVING "PRAYER BREAKFASTS" AT A MILITARY BASE?
The surreal landscape in this country continues to evolve in a very bad. way.
