72 percent of Republicans think Trump is 'a good role model for children'January 25, 2018 Kelly O'Meara Morales
A new poll published Thursday found that 72 percent of Republican voters feel that President Trump "is a good role model for children." Every other category, meanwhile be it race, age group, or gender strongly disagreed with that assessment.
A whopping 99 percent of Democratic voters said Trump was not a role model for children, as did 71 percent of independent voters, 67 percent of male voters, and 68 percent of female voters.

Did they all get dropped on their heads as children?
Are they allergic to education?
WTF is wrong with Republicans?

(28,270 posts)If you want your child to grow up to be a yellow coward, pussy grabber, traitor and con man, you should be arrested for child abuse and lose custody of your poor kids for life.
In a sane country but this is 'Mercia so....

Guard: What, ridden on a horse?
Arthur: Yes.
Guard: You're using coconuts!
Arthur: What?
Guard: You've got two empty halves of coconut and you're banging 'em together.
Arthur: So? We have ridden since the snows of winter covered this land, through the kingdom of Mercia, through
Guard: Where'd you get the coconuts?
Arthur: We found them.
Guard: Found them? In Mercia?! The coconut's tropical!
Arthur: What do you mean?
Guard: Well, Mercia's a temperate zone!
Arthur: The swallow may fly south with the sun, and the house martin or the plover may seek warmer climes in winter, yet these are not strangers to our land.
Guard: ... Are you suggesting that coconuts migrate?
Arthur: Not at all. They could be carried.

(115,735 posts)amoral, semiliterate grifters who cheat on their spouses, make fun of overweight women and disabled people, display hatred for immigrants and people of color, insult anyone who disagrees with them, brag constantly, lie constantly, and generally behave like a sociopath?
What the hell is wrong with almost 3/4 of Republicans who think Trump is someone anyone, let alone their own kids, should emulate? Ask them instead to fill out this questionnaire:
Do you think it's acceptable if your child does the following:
1. Tells lies. Yes__ No___
2. Teases children who are overweight or disabled. Yes___ No___
3. Insults or harasses children who come from other countries. Yes___ No___
4. Insults or harasses children of other races, religions or ethnicities. Yes___ No___
5. Insults or harasses children who are gay or transgender. Yes___ No___
6. Brags about him/herself, his/her money, family, status or positions. Yes___ No___
7. Shows disloyalty to his/her friends. Yes__ No __
If they answer No to all or most of those question, ask them why they could possibly consider Trump to be a good role model.

(804 posts)I have a 6 year old grandson. He can be a little pain in the butt (and I say that with love), but he already knows better than to:
-Grab girls (or boys!) by any body part
-Mock the disabled
-Make disparaging comments about people of other races - it never seems to even occur to him that that's a "thing"
-Hate immigrants
-Not help people who are suffering.
That kid just lost his first baby tooth yesterday and would make a better president than the current occupant.
