President Donald Trump’s Justice Department had reason to suspect that former Trump campaign associate Carter Page was a Russian agent, according to a Republican memo.

The contentious and secret memo, allegedly created by Republicans to discredit the investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 presidential election, shows that Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein approved an application to continue surveillance of Page, sources told The New York Times.

association with the trump campaign and the Russians all along yet Comey only revealed the alleged re-opening of the Clinton email investigation on Oct. 28, 2016.

No mention at all of the on-going investigation of the trump campaign yet we still get here on DU even that Clinton was such a flawed candidate she had no chance of winning.

IIRC the founder of Fusion GPS said in his testimony that US intelligence has been keeping an eye on Carter Page for years bc they suspected that Russia would try to recruit him as an asset.
