Don't know about anybody else here, but I refuse to watch the "State of the Union or Uniom" speech

I refuse to give my time and energy to listening to this venomous lying sack of shit who is destroying this country and will stand up there at the podium and spew his lies and insults in the Peoples House. It will only serve to anger me and make me nauseous and that is not a positive use of my time. I will be able to see clips and analysis and discussion and articles the next day in the newspaper, on TV and also here on the Democratic Underground. Why give this man, the TV stations any of my time, attention to this attention seeking petty sack of shit criminal who at best is just a money launderer and who with the help of enemies of our state, the Russians, illegally influenced an election and likely worse, and occupies the Presidency as he destroys our Nation, our standing in the World and has us less safe.

Instead, I will make a nice dinner for my family and we will spend time together and maybe watch a movie. It will be better for all of our nerves and mental health and I get to do something meaningful - being with my family. Have some good food and wine.

And when I am ready, I will happily turn to seeing the Democratic Response from Kennedy and seeing the face of the future generations of Democrats.
