Check in here if you're feeling absolutely outraged at Trump and the Republicans.

I didn't hear any news today until I came home from work.

McCabe succumbs to pressure to retire right away. 2 FBI directors gone without any justification except that they were not partial to Trump.

Republicans vote to release memo with classified info. They are determined to undermine the FBI and the special counsel.

The majority party and president have zero respect for the rule of law in this country and are leading us down a path of destruction.

Tue Jan 30, 2018, 11:39 AM
Jan 2018

So, the Trump voters will have the opportunity to hire even worse pukes to represent the rich, not them. What I just can't get my head around is why do those who are un-rich keep voting against their own self interests, year after year after year.

Us Dems need to come up with the right message that can attract these puke voters. Keeping harping on DACA just makes things worse. Immigration is a losing issue with these people, so why bet the farm on that?

Space science is a winning issue. Why not speak to these voters and put forth new legislation that increases funding for NASA. There is so much cool there that I can't imagine anyone voting against it. But I suppose there are those on the extreme left that would rather eliminate NASA funding and use the savings for other more pressing issues such as housing for the poor right here on good'ol' Terra Firma. I'd tell them to get the Congress to reduce military spending to cover such costs.

I know all too well the issue with the lack of affordable housing. It prevents me from owning my own home. but, hey, it's my own fault, I got too sick to work and had to retire on disability. Just try living any assemblence on such a pultry sum. I guess I should just go ahead and end my life. No one cares anyway.
So sadding.

Your card, my card, the Democrats' card, the independents' card, the never-Trumpers' card, the Constitution's card, the free world's card, everyone.

The actions of Trump and the Congressional Republicans only seem not to be refuted because they're playing to their base, publicly, while Mueller is a prosecutor quietly putting together his case with utmost secrecy.

The play for public opinion will only garner them short term attention. The true story begins when Mueller starts dropping his bombs.

The court of public opinion is not on this jury.

WARNING: STRONG LANGUAGE AHEAD.

I was born during the Truman administration, and I’ve never seen anything like this goddamned shit-show in my entire fucking life. Republicans have gone from being straight-arrow tight-asses to the Russia-loving, dictator-cocksucking, Trump-humping sycophants they are today. They wanted a “tough daddy,” and they’ll eventually have one in Putin. Trump is the “useful idiot” defined.

WTF happened to “law and order” or “if you don’t like America, why don’t you move to Russia?” Now they skirt law and order at every turn, sneak their shit into everything from textbooks to policy, and have a collective purple hard-on for Putin and Russia, truly the world’s “beacon of freedom.” Under Putin’s direction, our free elections and political processes have been hijacked. But Republicans don’t give a shit about fair elections; Christ, they now want to punish defeated opposing candidates AFTER elections. The U.S. under Trump and his toadies has been transformed into the Number One Shithole Country on the planet. And the RussiaPublicans are damn happy about it. How anti-American can they possibly be?

Rush fucking Limbaugh no longer speaks for these assholes, Alex Jones does, for fuck’s sake. Republicans don’t even put stock in science, which is a death-blow for this country. Climate change? Bah, that’s a liberal hoax. They want full rights and protection for zygotes, but make life hell for women, POC, children the elderly and the chronically ill — all completely disposable. Trump and his boosters are trying to put a noose around a free press and free speech. If they gain another term, they’ll kill those freedoms.

I’ll be 69 in a few months, and I didn’t come all this way to see the U.S. turned into some heartless wasteland weighted down with 300+ million guns and “led” by a cadre of lunatics, misfits, conspiracy nuts and bible-beaters who think education and healthcare are part of some “evil government mind-plot.”

For Republicans, ambivalence is defined by their one dilemma: Should the United States be an oligarchy, or a theocracy?
Fuck them all, BURY them in 2018 and 2020, if it’s still possible to have fair elections with Russia pulling levers, the “party of Lincoln” intimidating and disenfranchising black and Latino voters, gerrymandering, or worse— another “Pearl Harbor-like event.”

I think it's obvious that with this move, ALL the damn rethugs took money from Russia too. For the first time since this nightmare began, I fear for our nation. If Rosenstein is fired and then Mueller, we're all screwed.

That OUR leaders are quiet. Nancy "impeachment is off the table" Pelosi should be before the cameras every second making a huge waves. Chuck Schumer should be pounding the drums calling for impeachment and jail time for anyone enabling Trump. But, the Democratic leadership is quiet and have seemed to demure to the GOP. What the hell?

However I really believe that the repugs in our government supporting Trump have simply made a corrupt and lucrative business decision on their own behalf. They have traded all morality and honesty for their own financial interests. It is really a business now. Call it EasypickingsInc. Voted out, they will walk away with their millions caring not at all for this country or what they have done to it. I am sure they giggle when at home over how easy it is to control their uneducated base with their made up conspiracies. They probably have parlor games with their friends over making up the next one. They don't care about Russia either. Hell, they can live in Russia in style.. or anywhere for that matter.

At home conversation:

"No darling I really do not believe in what I say and what I say I support", "Yes I am lying but you see it is a business decision, one that puts money in our account so you can go to the best schools and live in the best countries" "No darling the United States is not the best country anymore" "Yes darling it is okay to be racist and misogynist now if you have the money to do so. That is what controls the base. It is simply an economic decision - see they say that on Fox News!" "Yes our channel darling".

"Great! - you are going to sell miracle pancakes to those folks down the street in support of Trump? YES! You've got the idea now!, just a little tweaking there.. I would suggest pizza and throw in some child slave business"

It's all so discouraging and upsetting. I'm not talking about policies. I'm talking about the corruption and the threats to our democracy, and the Russian involvement. Now Trump is NOT imposing the sanctions against Russia that Congress had passed, and Congress isn't doing anything about it.

So things have gotten worse since Congress passed those sanctions. NOW they wouldn't even pass them.

It's almost more than I can take. I'm getting worn down. I don't know how Schiff is still standing. He's dealing with heady issues every day, in a losing battle.

The biggest crooks on the planet, with the lowest possible score in terms of a record for being law-abiding -- are attacking all top law enforcement, Dept of Justice, and the Courts. Right out in the open.

And keep telling us they're the 'law and order' party.

A "District Attorney Roy Moore as Moses handing down the 10 Commandments while he's strutting around like a hill-billy wise-guy committing felonies" style of law enforcement. Arpiehole, Christie, Giuliani, that kind of law enfocement. Mussolini style -- he 'wiped out the mob' with his best buddy Vito Genovese.
