Morning Joe Slams 'Dairy Farmer' Devin Nunes: 'Nothing But a Courier For Donald Trump'

Morning Joe piled on Rep. Devin Nunes on Wednesday morning, as House Republicans voted to release his controversial memo purported to show bias at the highest levels of the FBI. “This is so mind boggling what the Republicans are doing,” an exasperated Joe Scarborough said.

“Why are Republicans trusting Devin Nunes to be their oracle of truth!?” MSNBC’s Elise Jordan exclaimed. “A former dairy farmer who House intel staffers refer to as Secret Agent Man because he has no idea what’s going on.”

“They’ve already busted him lying,” Scarborough added, referring to Nunes’s infamous claims about surveillance and eventual recusal from the Russia investigation. “They’ve already busted him being a courier. He’s nothing but a courier for Donald Trump!”

Jordan continued that “it’s not like [Former Congressman] Mike Rogers is the one who’s we need to look into this, someone who’s respected on both sides of the aisle.”

“This is Devin Nunes that Republicans are staking their credibility on, a guy that I’m sorry, I wouldn’t trust as far as I can throw him,” Jordan concluded.

“By the way there’s nothing wrong with dairy farmers,” Scarborough noted. “I like them.”
