Trump is not a serious man.

He is a clown, with clown-like features.

He is not intelligent. He simply knows how to bully people and use immoral means to obtain his goals.

He is a dumb clown.

Mueller and Wray and the men and women of the FBI are serious people.

He picked the wrong fight.

Trump will have a bad time.

with people/organizations that do not F around. With all of his stupid clownish shenanigans, he continues to implicate himself and some members of his herd more and more.

Bluster and bullshit works for a while. Only for a while.

Merv Griffin walked away with the Resorts money and Trump got stuck with the bills, which he never paid. Griffin, btw, made his money all by himself and was a real negotiator.

The Penn Central yards (now Riverside South) is a fascinating story, and could have been Trump's crowning glory. Except, he was Trump. He actually thought NBC would move out of 30 Rock into his new project and never realized they were just using him to get a better deal on their lease. He stayed involved with it for pretty much as long as he could get good press out of it, but sold control to Chinese investors, who eventually sold the thing to Carlyle Group. All of Trump's original plans were 86'd by the neighborhood, the city, and the state. He kept his name on a few of the buildings for as long as he could. Maybe still has his name in there somewhere.

BTW, uncertified concrete in one of the buildings didn't help. There was an excellent chance it could fallen down until they fixed it.

And his football league is another story...

I think your sentence is exactly correct. It's like buying a new car that you have researched for months and months, and therefore know much more about it than the salesman.

The salesman will bullshit you, and you will tend to fall for his bullshit in the beginning, simply because you are a good human being who wants to naturally believe others. But since you have studied the car you want to buy, the salesman's bullshit can be seen through in a few short minutes.

The deplorable part of his base share those same characteristics...not serious people, clownish etc! I'm not saying his whole base is like that... just the deplorable faction of his base. Ex. Sarah Palin, Ted Nugent and the like!

I act like a child much of the time. I gravitate toward people who don't take themselves TOO seriously. Being like this helps you stay young, kind and humble. I think it is good to be like this, as long as you are serious about serious things.

It's different with people like Trump. They have no humor. They are not able to be self-deprecating. The jokes that they tell have an underpinning of hate. I swear, I'm starting to get really good at identifying them just by looking at them. Many of them don't have genuine smiles. Many of them have weird eyes...empty (ie: Stephen Miller).

I think about this all of the time...I have never once seen Trump lose his shit from laughing. I have never seen him genuinely laugh. I guess what I am trying to convey here is this...he projects himself as a serious person. But, he is anything but serious. He is clownish, but not humorous. A truly serious person is one who is measured during a given situation. Serious people can and should be light-hearted when it is called for.

Sorry, I'm rambling...just trying to figure out exactly what is wrong with these people.
