Well, we just got an increase of $150.00 a year on our home owners insurance.....

We have it automatically taken out of our checking account it'll be about $12.00 a month. It's due to rising replacement costs of lumber, blah, blah, blah... This is how folks lose their homes....all bills have increased, and income does not. Taxes have gone up, our cable bill, have to pay out of pocket $$ for all doctor appointments now, we need four new tires, and now our insurance. No wonder we're in the lower middle income group now. D*mn. Oh, and forgot to add our little city needs a new septic system.....that'll cost us each at least $15,000 over 20 years....but still just another little "payment" we'll have to pay. I'm gonna have to go get a job to supplement my retirement. edit to add additional information.

to mention the raise in city water, lights, and sewer charges. Now they are going to inspect all the homes for improper hookup to the city systems thanks to the omnipotent DNR. They've decided that home that were built to code, inspected by the city when built now have to be reinspected to make sure the sewer hookup and water hookup are truly separate so the sewer can't back up into our water???????

What a bunch of hooey. Waste of tax money and time.
