Without the original FISA application, this memo is a worthless piece of paper.

A book report written without reading the book. To use this for making any decisions is the worst case of malpractice I have ever seen. And we are not gonna ever see the original. Trumpco knows that.

IMHO.

Nunes is so dumb, he's unafraid to let the world know what a partisan hack he is. Complicit much??? Can't wait to witness this idiot's self-inflicted downfall.

...it fulfills its intended purpose: to give Trump a pretext to "clean house" at the FBI and DoJ and install his own loyalists.

Look for Wray and Rosenstein to be gone by next week at the latest; with Mueller to follow shortly thereafter.

Its impact is real. It will establish cause for Trump to clean house (even if false cause). The problem is that the GOP has already signaled they are okay with this in bulk since they support the memo. The GOP is the party in power. Once everyone is fired, the investigation will end with their full support and there's not going to be one branch that can hold the president accountable. It will effectively end the investigation and potentially start a fresh one by the GOP into the Obama administration to see if they abused power with this warrant. This will deflect and distract the American public as now, for the next few months, it's all we'll hear about even if the premise is. bullshit.

Despite the interjection of a smattering of Republicans who are increasingly being marginalized anyway, this will be the new story. It will be the Benghazi investigation all over again and it will drown out much of any Russian hype for the remainder of the year.

The second Paul Ryan and other Republicans signed off on the release of the memo, they essentially approved of Trump cleaning house, which will end with Mueller. And unfortunately, with the GOP in power, they're the ones who get to decide the next step and it's clear they'll side with Trump on the firing by establishing the investigating was a hatchet job from the start.
