With Trump though I'm really not sure his ties to his kids are really more deep than what they can do for him. So taking the hit for Daddy may just be "in his mind" what is expected of a child. And I believe they can seize assets of the kids if they are indicted. Big Don's assets I'm not so sure if there is a question that will test if he can be indicted in state court. He will drag that out as long as possible.
