Ivanka Trump Says Black History Month Is About All Americans & That Went Over About as Well as...

During #BlackHistoryMonth, we celebrate heroes like Harriet Tubman, Rosa Parks, and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. who were sojourners for freedom – and we resolve to continue to bring greater equality, dignity, and opportunity to all Americans, regardless of race or background.

To commemorate Black History Month, Ivanka Trump did the bare minimum: she tweeted.

As a public figure and official adviser to Donald Trump, it would be nice if the examples she provided of celebrated black figures went beyond an elementary school history lesson—not knocking Harriet Tubman, Rosa Parks, and Dr. King, but does Ivanka Trump know the names of any other black American heroes?

Still, Ivanka couldn’t even get through a single sentence without dismissing the purpose of her tweet, stating the “resolve to continue to bring greater equality, dignity, and opportunity to all Americans, regardless of race or background.”

Ivanka Trump couldn’t even get ONE DAY into Black History Month without pandering to the All Live Matter base who feel left out when a thing isn’t designed specifically for them.

The base is all bent out of shape because the DACA-eligible folks are called Dreamers, so the short-fingered vulgarian had to say that Americans are dreamers. I saw a clip of some empty-headed woman who called that the line of the night from the State of the Whatever speech.

But by all means, instead of focusing exclusively on those so-called black people during Black History Month, let's get going on "all Americans, regardless of race." Stealing lives, liberty, property, wages, families, and homes from black people hasn't been enough for Ivanka.
