So why are Trump and the GOPers so concerned about Carter Page?

He was just a covfefe boy, wasn't he? Nobody knew the guy; he nothing to do with the campaign, blah blah blah.

But four federal judges on the FISA court thought he might be a Russian spy, and the IC had been watching him for years.

So the Trump campaign had a Russian spy on its staff? And did they know it? If they did, is that what they're trying to hide?

They think if they can remove him from the investigation then nothing else will be admissible. I suspect that they are wrong, mostly because they have done illegal things to counter him.

The consistency of their handling of this is non-existent.

I think the motivation in all this for tRump is money. tRump's lack of unencumbered assets, his Russian money, and possible criminal enterprises (to make money) would be exposed. All his assets could be confiscated or used up in legal fees and unpaid taxes. His Republican henchmen are doing this to retain power. They will lose this when the Russian money in their coffers is exposed. Some may even worry about jail time.

The way they are acting seems to go beyond party loyalty. They seem frightened.

I suspect there is a lot of russian money out there. Some of the Goobers benefiting from russian money through the NRA.

I keep wanting to scream this at the TV. Now Page's sketchy relationships with Russians over many years is being brought up in the media, I am watching it right now on CNN.

as a national security advisor! Can't you understand? It really doesn't matter if the President did choose an incompetent Russian stooge as an advisor! It's the principle of the thing that's important to us! It will look bad if it comes out! What would people think about Our Great President and the GOP? This is about saving our country from the Democrats! We had nothing to do with Carter Page! We never ever even heard of him! And now that poor man is the innocent vicim of a mean-spirited partisan witch hunt started by Hillary! We can't let this happen! It's unfair! People might think we knew the campaign was riddled with foreign agents and lied about it! If you have three or four friends, who happen to be Russian spies, do you want to be wire-tapped? Think about it! Make America great again! Lock her up! "
