We all know Trump is extremely vengeful. He believes he is never wrong. He always blames someone for his failures. He has some things in common with Hitler. Hitler turned on his people. He blamed them. He took them down with him. I am not saying Trump is Hitler, I am saying he is fucking nuts in some of the same ways Hitler was.
Will Trump start a war trying to protect himself, power grab when he knows he is about to be removed from office? How far will Trump go to protect himself?

(31,113 posts)destroy this place if he loses the election? By "this place" I mean America.
Think about it.
He would have us killing each other if it meant defending him.

(25,263 posts)if Trump goes down - he will take down the whole Repug Party with him.
I'm thinking that is what he is holding over the Party now and that is why they keep circling the wagons around him and protect him. He knows where all the skeletons are buried in the Party. He knows their secrets. He learned a lot on the primary trail. More during the general election. And when he won - hell - the RNC head was in the WH with him.
He knows the dirty tricks used by McConnell and Ryan. And what he doesn't know - he'll just make things up about the Party.
For right now he is protected from impeachment - because of this. After Nov 2018 when the Blue Wave hits D.C. - he's got big problems.
But like it was said in this thread - Trump will never shoulder the blame. He'll be pointing fingers at the Party - just like a schoolboy saying - "Not me - Johnny did it".
Every day he's acting more and more like the guilty person he is. Things are closing in on him and as the noose tightens - he'll get even more squirly. The fun is yet to come.

(1,822 posts)and i'd say its 50/50 at best that happens, there will be a mild civil war in america. trump is the single most polarizing person i've ever seen. you'll have his sychophant followers take to the streets where they will be met by counter protestors. all over these encounters will turn violent and in a sense america will burn.
