Conspiracy to Obstruct is a real possibility. Gowdy knows that the longer he hangs around at the scene of a crime, the more likely it is that he'll be viewed with suspicion. Gowdy wants to re-enter the judicial branch after Congress. If the guy's indicted, his career is finished. He's not Fox News material, either.
