https://www.cbssports.com/mlb/news/jim-thome-doesnt-want-chief-wahoo-on-his-hall-of-fame-plaque/Longtime Indians slugger Jim Thome, one of baseball's four new Hall of Famers, said Friday he does not want the Chief Wahoo logo to appear on his Hall of Fame plaque in Cooperstown. He would prefer the team's block "C" logo. Thome was speaking at an event in Cleveland.

Just a thought.
There are 15 HOF members who went in as Cleveland Indians. One has Chief Wahoo on his cap. One is Thome. The other 13 have either the block C or a blank cap.
He will probably go in with the block C. His longest tenure is as a Cleveland player. Him going in as anything but a Cleveland player would be like Ichiro going in as anything but a Mariner.

He was in Cleveland a lot longer than we had him. But we are thrilled by his being in the HOF. Thome is also the reason why we got Charlie Manuel who was a great manager for years and still working for the Phillies in the front office.
