Anyone else find it a huge double standard

That Justin Timberlake’s playing the Super Bowl again while Janet Jackson still gets punished and shamed for the “wardrobe malfunction”? I have no major issue with JT, but the brunt of the shitstorm for that situation definitely fell on her.

She's not being SHUNNED, she just hasn't had a hit in like forever and JT has remained pretty vital mr_lebowski Feb 2018 #3
I think the wardrobe malfunction experienced by Janet Jackson was much ado about nothing. democratisphere Feb 2018 #4

The brunt always falls on the woman. That the luxury of being a man during the Patriarchy is undeniable. He's forgiven and she is shunned.

Yet the Super Bowl is the utmost in Patriarchal entertainment. What could we expect? They want to see it, yet they will shame the woman when they do.

It's absurd that it is even mentioned 14 years later. There will be a female guest artist but it is still sketchy as to who it will be. Possibly Pink who is supposed to be doing the national anthem but she is battling the flu.
