As a Pats fan: What a game! And congrats to the Eagles...

...I feel sick that that one play cost them the game...that is, the fumble. But what the hell. Brady threw for over 500 yards. At the age of forty. He still has one more Super Bowl trip left in him... ... Meanwhile--the Eagles, and the city of Philadelphia, which I love, richly deserve this. I've seen every Super Bowl, and this was about the most entertaining ever...

Congrats to the Eagles. Neither team is “my” team, but I like them both, so was able to just enjoy a high quality Super Bowl. Oh, and won in my pool at work, so yay.

Life long fan here. Part of bleeding green nation. I am thrilled beyond words and so proud that my EAGLES beat no one less than the greatest team in the sport.
Thank you Pats for a great game.

It was a terrific game. If I knew it would be a shootout, I'd be worried. But Foles was amazing and the defense made the stops when they needed to.

and we were kinda rootin' for the Eagles, so there's that. One of the best games ever, and nice to see Nick Foles catch a touchdown pass, along with all the other outstanding plays he made.

Eagles played one of the best teams in the league, and beat them. Well done.

No shame in his performance. Eagles have a good defense but Brady made the offense have to come through.

It was a blowout.

Some great plays and I did enjoy the game but the whole game I just kept thinking neither defense could stop the other team.

Still gotta love the eagles coaches intestinal fortitude. Some of those calls were gutsy as hell.

I may be wrong but feels like only three drives were stopped the entire game.

Fun game to watch just the same.

I’m hanging this on Bill B. 41 points? And you bench one of your best defensive players? Pats D sucked and Philly’s was just a hair better.

that to win the game was incredible let alone winning the way they did. When Brady was stripped of the ball entire trump-state region collectively jumped out of their seats. We held our breathe until the final seconds then celebrated. Philly, as you also know, is an Eagles First town and will be celebrating this win in perpetuity. As a resident of South Jersey we as well will have an extra hip in our step for at least the next month. After McNabb falling 3 yards short of defeating the Patriots the last time the Eagles played in the SB it was vindication. I believe the Pats were something like 14-0 against teams that hadn’t played them in the regular season which was a daunting stat. so they really came through and all the players will be forever loved in Philly Eagles folklore.

could DO THAT!

I spent three quarters counting to 3 to see if the Patriot rush even had a chance to get to Foles! They didn't.

And his accuracy!

Sometimes, all you can do is get out of the way.

And all the defense needed in the end was that one play!!!

Congratulations, Philadelphia Eagles!
