Interesting to watch Bannon squirm.

However, I'm coming to realize that Stephen Miller may have been the bigger fish.

fawn over Bannon and beg his indulgence while they set another date more to his whims.

I agree with you.

I do, however, believe they could drag him in, if they really wanted to. I'm not sure the Democrats have enough votes to force anything unless one of two of their Republican counterparts grow a spine.

dirty tricks planned. No idea what all these lying weasels have in mind, but for sure if they could turn their "base" to screaming for Bannon's head while cuddling the orange pumpkin protectively to their bosoms, they'll do it.

Worth musing, Bannon IS cooperating with Mueller (apparently has no choice) and the Coverup Committee is working to sabotage Mueller's investigation. Perhaps we are seeing Mueller's team in possession of the ball.

Four dimensional chess at least.

If that's what they want, I don't want it. How is this going to help Democrats, other than the rather weak sauce of optics?

The GOP and the shambling slop-buckets that vote for them don't give a damn about optics, anyway...at least, not in any way that those optics don't help Drumpf.

I hope they either fold their hand, or at least dither until RM feels he needs to talk to a hobo soaked in cheap gin and scoops him out from under that piss poor committee.

Apologies to Dems on that committee - especially Adam Schiff, he of heroic efforts - but, really...how much influence over its course to they have?

On a slightly different note....flip that majority to blue, and that committee might become the sharpest public face of undoing this whole clusterfuck.
