Can you help me out here?

With all of tRump's dicking around and his lawyers saying he shouldn't testify, why doesn't Mueller just slap a subpoena on him right now? Why play the game any longer and let the orange turd screw us over more than he has already?

And who would rein him him?

Trump would declare that it's a fake investigation by a corrupt FBI on a witch hunt, and he'll refuse to "dignify" it by submitting to questioning under oath.

We know that this would happen, because it's happening already.

And who would rein him in?

Doesn't apply to himself, and doesn't apply in a criminal investigation.

The hope is to get him to agree to interview and avoid what could be a long court fight to see if he even has to testify.

We need to frame our language. An article posted yesterday says that by not agreeing to testify under oath, he has effectively taken the Fifth. People need to make that understood.

That's why I am wondering why they don't do it now and get the court crap ended sooner? Doesn't he have to be asked something to take the fifth? Lol I know nothing, that's why I'm asking.

Thanks!

This isn't his game. It's being played by others.

"let the orange turd screw us over more than he has already? "

I'm of the opinion that absolutely nothing will happen to Trump in the investigation if Mueller doesn't deliver findings to congress this week or next. I feel that way because of what I quoted above.

It helps build the obstruction case in the public mind.

Then the hammer comes down in the form of a subpoena
