We're Taking Names

Any Republican who thinks we will forgive and forget that they put an idiotic traitor in the Oval Office is living in a delusional bubble.

Despite the fact that the nation has typically let bygones be bygones – albeit often grudgingly so – after one party’s president leaves office and the other party’s candidate is elected, the chance of this happening after Trump is ousted is down to zero.

We will never forget the damage that’s been done by the Buffoon-in-Chief to our country, to our fellow citizens, and to our standing in the global community as a world leader and a beacon of democracy. And we will never forgive those who cheered him, supported him, and enabled him.

We know who you are – the suck-ups, the ass-kissers, the self-serving sycophants who threw their own constituents under the Trump bus in order to ingratiate themselves with the lying, bloviating maniac they knew to be incompetent when they elected him.

We know what you’ve done – the enabling of an incompetent, mentally-deficient narcissist who continues to trash the Constitution and defy the rule of law. We’ve watched as you’ve ignored his lies, made excuses for his stupidity, and supported an “agenda” that steals from the working-class to fund tax-cuts for the wealthy, takes affordable healthcare away from millions, and uses the fate of Dreamers as a bargaining chip in order to pay for a border wall that is a useless waste of money.

We know this “pResident” is going down. He’s a Putin ass-licker who has accomplished everything the Russians had hoped for – chaos, uncertainty, a breakdown of our traditional American values, and a constant erosion of our most valued and principled institutions. He has demonstrated time and again that “America first” actually means “Russia first” – up to and including NOT placing sanctions against that country despite having been directed to do so overwhelmingly by congress.

Be aware that when this treasonous idiot goes down, we will remember every single one of you who “went along to get along”. We will remember your own treason in having elected him, and supported his obvious goal of pleasing his Russian Master to the detriment of the country and the citizens he swore to serve.

We’re taking names – your names. There will be no “forgive and forget”. There will be no letting bygones be bygones. There will be no apologies accepted, no excuses proffered that won’t be met with derision.

Those Republicans who have political ambitions should be taking note: your party is now forever associated with racism, xenophobia, homophobia, misogyny, disdain for the Constitution, defiance of the rule of law, and the theft of our democracy in order to placate a Russian stooge.

I would suggest you kiss such political ambitions good-bye – because we, the voters, will never forget that you kow-towed to a snivelling traitor who sold out his country to our enemies.

We know who you are, we know what you’ve done – and as history can tell you, those who collaborate with a nation’s foes are never treated well in the aftermath.

keeping a list and I'm going to revisit your dumb ass after the shit has been dispersed by the fan.

These Republiscum wimps are going to hide behind Mueller. I think they are waiting for him to come on out with his report...then they'll find some courage. Everybody needs to remember that they got to go...almost every single one. Charlie Dent can stay but he doesn't want to.

So basically I agree with you as will everybody else.

Every last one of the treason weasels must be voted out of office and indicted if they went too far (McConnell and Ryan are at the top of the list).

in stealing the election with help from Russia.

Their actions indicate they are trying to hide the truth.
GOP turns its head when trump refuses to enact sanctions on Russia that they voted for.
They changed their platform to favor Russia before the election.
Ryan and friends caught on camera saying "We have to keep this in the family" and then claimed it was a joke.
GOP abandons all their espoused principle like law and order, defending us from Russia, fiscal responsibility, etc.
They are quitting like rats off a sinking ship.

The GOP has shown for many years they are willing to steal elections, suppress voting, gerrymander to extremes, anything to stay in power. McConnell blocked a supreme court pick of a moderate judge for nearly a year. He knew they would have help in coming election.

I know what they are thinking. They think that some law firm back home will pay them a million dollars a year to put their names on their letterhead. They think after the required waiting period they will peddle their influence with a lobbying firm and fall into riches beyond their wildest dreams.

But instead they will find out that their names and reputations are forever tainted and they have been exposed as the worthless pieces of shit they have always have been. And if I had my way they would wind up on the street panhandling and I will spit on them as I walk by.

Their offspring should be neutered.

Just like last year, had to put his hands all over Trump at his entrance and exit to the SOTU. Supported Devin Nunes memo. Never listens to his constituents. Trump all of the way.

Is there a database of GOP operatives and their repugnant actions?

Seems like that would be a good way to reduce the cost of opposition research to individual candidates.
