for the Rob Porter story.
These women have been speaking out for years, but it took this story -- and photos -- to get anything to happen.
ON UPDATE: A third woman has come forward (as reported in the second story below).

EXCLUSIVE: Hope Hicks' new boyfriend Rob Porter RESIGNS from White House after BOTH ex-wives accuse him of abuse - including one who told DailyMail.com that he CHOKED and PUNCHED her

The two ex-wives of Rob Porter, the White House aide who resigned today in the wake of domestic abuse allegations, revealed to DailyMail.com they were in contact with a third woman who is believed to be his longtime girlfriend.
The woman, is 34 and works for the federal government in Washington D.C.
DailyMail.com is declining to name her because she is an alleged victim of domestic abuse and she has not come forward. Repeated attempts to contact her have been unsuccessful.
Porter, 40, had been living with the willowy blonde political appointee, who split with him around Thanksgiving, after discovering suggestive text messages between Porter and White House communications director Hope Hicks, one of Trump's closest and most trusted advisors.

Average temperatures could be 1.5°C higher during the period 2018 and 2022
This is the first time such high values have been highlighted by the Met Office
Last year was almost 1°C warmer than pre-industrial levels from 1850 to 1900

(4,533 posts)The UKpress regulator forcedThe Mail on Sunday, their Sunday paper, to run a lengthy correction about a David Rose article, published Feb 2017, busted Sept. Maybe that scared them. Maybe their Sunday paper has a different editorial slant? But the guy who ran them in the thirties was literally a friend of Benito and Adolph, they literally ran a forged letter attributed to a liberal mp to successfully swing parliament to conservatives around 1920. They have been evil, like Fox. But since Cicada is not my real name I can confess I read them everyday for the dirty celebrity photos people likeKims mom wants me to see, I know I will go to hell for it, and some other actually interesting stories.

The British paper I really respect, though, is The Guardian. As I remember it, they were the only paper that didn't go on the Amanda Knox hunt -- a subject I followed closely at the time. Their coverage was fair.

(4,533 posts)Unlike our bland namely pamby papers their news actually told what was REALLY happening. What the news really meant. And best of the best was the Guardian, writing to die for. On my second visit Clement Freud was running for parliament He actually visited the district. He said he could not be sure but he thought his opponent never visited the district because he was, in fact, a midget. At another rally in a big barn in the Cotswold he said Im looking at my Watch not because its late but because this Watch has great sentimental value to me. On his death bed my famous grandfather, Sigmund Freud, sold me this Watch.
What a breath of fresh air their politics was.

just like trump is a serial sexual predator.. but the Russians couldn't care less.. neither did his screaming fans. Nor stein and sarandon when they lied.. "..Hillary is more dangerous than trump"***
