Republican Resigned from Wake County, NC Soil and Water Conservation Board - Replaced by Democrat

Here's a small victory that we had in the south recently. I found out about this, and had to look through the news to see if it was reported. It wasn't. In Wake County, North Carolina Republican Matthew Overby won over Democratic incumbent Marshall Harvey by only a few votes. Apparently he wasn't able to serve the full term, resigned and Marshall Harvey was appointed to fill the position.

Small victory, but a victory none the less.

Overby really wasn't active on that board anyway.

This leaves only two elected Republicasn on the County level. Jennifer Knox Wake County Clerk of Court and Donnie Harrison Wake County Sheriff.
