Bernie Sanders on Trump parade
Hey, Mr. President: Instead of copying France's military parade, why not copy France's health care system? Health care for all, low-cost prescription drugs, much less expensive.

The problem is not the parade on itself. I know you have local parades.
These parades are nice, emotional and really meant to honor the men and women who served the country.
Our countries are smaller, most of the countries have or had a centralized power. It is one of the reasons for a national parade.
You country is a bit different, a national parade in addition to being onerous, doesn't make much sense.
Especially the kind of parade Trump is probably looking for : the kind of parade you'll see in a dictatorship where a parade is a propaganda tool. Ours are ceremonial meant to honor and also to remember a specific event in the past.

I don't really know much about him.
I know he is Liberal, I like many of his ideas.
But if I'm not wrong, there differences between him and Hillary.
Hillary supporters don't necessarily support Bernie. Same for Bernie supporters.
Am I wrong ?
By the way, he is absolutely right about Trump parade.
French health care system might not perfect, but it is a very good one. We do have a good one too. Technically not the same as the French one but the benefits for the citizens are more or less the same.
It doesn't mean I can be applied in the US but you surely can find a system that will work and can be applied in all States.
